Flowing off rugged limestone and volcanic slopes, the Bladen passes through the old-growth tropical rainforest where the ancient Maya civilization grew a pure variety of Criollo Cacao trees. Designated Heirloom Fine Flavor in 2016, this wild harvested chocolate is grown under the shade of the rainforest on BFREE’s private reserve in Belize.
