Goldson Airport near Belize City is the only international airport in the country.  Continental Airlines flies to Belize from Houston, American Airlines from Miami and Dallas, and TACA Airlines from Los Angeles. All European and South American flights to and from Belize pass through these hubs. TACA Airlines also has daily flights to Belize City from Guatemala City (Guatemala), San Salvador (El Salvador), and Roatan and San Pedro Sula (Honduras), and also has connecting flights from Panama, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica.t Mexicana Airlines flies between Cancun (Mexico) and Belize City on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Bus arrival to Belize is possible at one point on Belize’s western border from Guatemala, and one point in the north from Mexico. The northern border point is at the Mexican City of Chetumal and the town of Corozal in Belize. The western border is at the Guatemalan City of Melchor and Benque Viejo del Carmen in Belize.  Buses from Chetumal to Belize run from the Nuevo Mercado Lázaro Cárdenas on Calzada Veracruz at Confederación Nacional Campesina. Buses to Belize through Melchor in Guatemala depart Flores and its neighboring town, Santa Elena. Consult your favorite guidebook for details of buses and station locations (Lonely Planet Guides are recommended!).

Requena’s Charter Service is a boat taxi that carries passengers between Puerto Barrios in Guatemala and Punta Gorda in southern Belize. The service is safe and reliable, and can be extremely scenic.  All boats leave Puerto Barrios from the Muelle Principal (at the foot of 12a Calle). Once in Punta Gorda, it is easy to catch a bus to the Bladen Nature Reserve entrance road.
